Corporate identity Power Point template design and guidelines

QBE European Operations is a division of the QBE Insurance Group. Through its trading subsidiaries it is a leading specialist in London market and European commercial lines business.

The brief

QBE client wanted to be able to quickly assemble new high quality PowerPoint presentations
from its large stock of old slides. Unfortunately their old slides were in a wide variety of
non conforming styles making the job of creating new presentations a complex and time
consuming task.

Therefore they needed a new, easy to use template which would allow all levels of their
staff, throughout Europe, to create consistently professional on-brand presentations
adding new slides and drawing on a library of high quality slides as needed.

Our approach

Cogent analysed QBE’s existing slides and rationalised the content down to six basic types. We then proposed a simple design system supporting the twin aims of flexibility in use and consistency of appearance

What we delivered

We delivered a package of PowerPoint templates and guidelines for use which were
published within the application and over the QBE intranet.
