Oceanstyle Touch Screen Presentation – London Boat Show 2010

This presentation, programmed in PowerPoint and Flash, was displayed on touch screen pods at the perimeter of the Oceanstyle stand to attract passing visitors and provide "self-service" information at busy times. Cogent created an animated screen saver in Flash which was timed to cut in after 3 minutes if no one was using the pod.

Cogent worked with Oceanstyle’s marketing manager on the structure and navigation of the screens and designed and programmed a shell presentation for Oceanstyle to populate with over 100 yachts for sale and charter. This kept costs down and enabled quick updates. For touch screen presentations on pods it is especially important to design simple clear navigation controls with sufficiently large (but not ugly) buttons.

Oceanstyle are able to easily update the presentation for future shows at no additional cost.
